Okay so new PSU arrived, plugged it in and put all cords in. Tried to turn it on and it did the same thing. Except now I hear a clear beep.

Maybe the MOBO is fucked?

I just went to my local repair shop. Guy there said everything is in the right place and good. But the mobo is shorted.

Likely what happened was my friend forgot to discharge and touched the board. And made it short itself.

Looks like I’m without a computer until I can get it sent back and replaced

I’m disappointed that it’s shorted. But my friend said he’ll order me a new one and do it properly this time in a spot he’s got dedicated to settin shit up in.

So I’ll still be without a PC till Monday when the new MOBO arrives
