I can. You crash into the side of the tunnel multiple times until you die of blunt force trauma, and then your corpse keeps falling until it's grinded up into fleshy bits, then those fleshy bits might be grinded up into fluids, and those fluids seep into the ground. Now if you have a skateboard or some way to prevent yourself from impacting the tunnel over and over, you might survive long enough to reach the core, now if you cannot maintain your velocity, you may be trapped in the core. You'd be pulled to the strongest gravitational point on Earth, and you starve to death, unless you've brought climbing equipment, and enough food/water to keep you alive. You'd also need a suit that could survive the intense heat of the core.
The question said that in this case the core was empty and lacked heat.
I actually asked my physics teacher about this earlier today and he said "The answer's a lot more boring than you want it to be."
