If you'd watch the video you'd see that miners at lake superior tried this by dropping cannonballs down a hole, and they never reached the bottom., so it doesnt mean the cannonball got stuck to the wall, more like it got lodged INTO the wall.

Two problems:
1: Air friction would slow him down during the whole trip. If there was no air, then he could potentially make it to the other side, but if there is even the tiniest amount of friction he will slow, and end up slinging back and forth and then settling in the center of the Earth

2: Unless the tube was perfectly between the two rotational poles of the Earth, then the Coriolis Effect would cause the person to ram against the side of the tube repeatedly, grinding them into dust. In even a 1 mile vertical shaft the coriolis effect is massive. At the very least, the coriolis effect would cause the jumping person to rotate a lot

Basic Physics.

Lets say that inside the planet, there is still oxygen.

Imagine this:

You're at the top of a completely equally sided ramp. A big fucking quarterpipe.

If you dropped from one side and applied NO EXTRA force, (No kicking off the floor with a skateboard, etc) then you will reach just below the other side's top.

The reason is air resistance and the loss of momentum.

If you jumped from the surface of the planet to the other side, air resistance would mean that you'd lose moment and would NOT reach the other side, you would lose speed, begin falling in the other direction, and repeat until there is no more momentum at all and it has all been lost.

You are now at the centre of the planet.

The planet rotates slower/faster near the centre (as do all circular objects), which would mean that as you approached the centre, you would slam into a side of the hole.
