I mean we can look at how Putin has an oligarchy that silences all opposition, or that Clinton likely killed off people in order to keep their information safe to prevent a trial. How about Madagascar where a coup backed by the French has effectively killed off all foreign aid? List goes on.

That's class inequality. Although it's not as extreme as removing personal freedoms, it's an issue that needs to be resolved, and no amount of Scandinavian social democrat style reforms will fix that.

imho it seems like people love communism until they actually have to live in it

shit living conditions, power vacuums for dicatorships and the ensuing chaos that follows.

I lived for a summer in cuba a few years back on an extended holiday.

It was fine, electric fans, orangeade, good all organic food for once. Living consitions were very good tbh

Nice and calm, no vagrants from what I could see, they even had fresh pizza shops dude. Even went to get rations that the government hands out with my grandma which was coll as shit to do in person but I guess the novelty wears off after a while. Went to live with aunt and uncle for a week or two in the middle and they had A/C. They had a waterworld typw thing as well which was cool. But yeah, all in all very comfortable 'communism experience', would do it again.

Don't get why people blast it so much, it's not that bad. The leaders tend to be the problem, not the system itself but if you guys check out cuba it's the only sustainable country in the world and it's gorgeous.

it did make my asthma flare up a few times which is non existant over here, whether it was an actual asthma attack or panic attack I don't know because I was still a kiddo so, if you have asthma be careful
