Suggestion PDM vehicles are too expensive

I'm not gonna lie, the vehicles being sold at the PDM right now are way too expensive for what they are. There is literally zero advantage to buying a car from the selection available instead of just stealing a car which is expontentially better in every single regard, other than the fact that it's a stolen car, nevermind that because it's so easy to lose the cops with the speeds they go which you would never be able to do with the one you'd own.

I mean I get it if you're wanting to play a fully legal character in which case you'd still not be able to afford them anyway because of how little money most of the jobs give.

Or if you want to have the convenience of being able to use the trunk storage which anyway is only 6 slot storage which isn't much and the feature of storing it in a garage, which I can't justify paying so much for.

On NP I can grind 100k per day if I nolife it and that gets you a decent starter racing car. Let's say if you really nolife it in 10 days you can get 1mil and get a low-tier tuner shop car

I'm going to be very blunt here, I've read your threads here and we're becoming a little agitated by the weird jabs or attitude in a majority of the threads you're creating. Other's have criticisms or suggestions too and don't feel the need to make weird remarks.

sure, but i think they should be enough to adequately sustain some basics. a lot of stuff as is really eats into the pittance we're able to earn as the systems currently are. some things, like really really really shitty cars (ie a futo or some of those rusted out junks) or a bicycle (especially bicycles. plz alex. plz. plz plzplzplzpzlplzplzplzplzpzlzplz $4,500 for a mountain bike is way too much) should just be more affordable and accessable y'know.

I think that there needs to be a dealership (used car salesman or something) that sells beaters and stuff

i understand that the goal is that cars and some other stuff are supposed to be long term goals, but if the hardcore grinders who spend hours on end playing every day are having trouble reaching these goals you can imagine what the average player would be going through

maybe some features are planned in the future (or currently undiscovered) that would make these amounts seem trivial but currently it just sucks for most people


If you for some reason decide to play a law abiding citizen, using taxis or rentals or whatever you are looking at a 1k sink for a car every day if you dont wanna use the robin, not counting money you have to spend on food and other activities (or even repairs if you commit to the rental) it just never pays out

the cheapest car, the robin is like 15k or more i think and its a practically useless meme car, bicycles cost 5k+ i think (so all of your starting cash if you wanna go down that route) and are like mildly better than walking

They dont have to be good cars, or fast cars just to get people from point a to point b, or at least make the bikes a little cheaper

I read something like when you start out you should have enough money for either a gun or a vehicle, and I sort of agree with it. Maybe not sub 5k but with like a little bit of grinding it should be affordable

idk how popular of an idea this would be, but it could be made that lockpicks can't unlock race cars/high-end cars randomly found on the street for the same reason a police car can't be lockpiced "This lock is too advanced". That way there is more reason to buy a car than to just steal some super car for $300

some nice cars should require better lockpicking tool or a hacking tool.

there's some high end cars tho that missed being taken out with the rest, i saw a local decked out massacro with a spoiler on it lol parked in a garage.

sports cars/two doors are so easy to come by, i spend more time looking for bikes than i do looking for them, theyre everywhere in vinewood/north-west LS

Now that police are starting to snag people on stolen cars, it's becoming increasingly more difficult to navigate around. I think there should be a few reallllllyyyy shit cars like the futo available for a relatively cheap price (8-10k)

Otherwise I risk either having to run and the cops voice identifying me for a warrant from within the car or begging people for rides who don't really wanna give me rides, especially when they have their own things going on

I'm not really against any other prices now
