Scotland's GDP as of 2016 is $233 Billion USD, ranking it 18th out of the 42 EU members, thus placing it above any "post soviet shithole state" excluding Poland. So for our size our economy isn't that terrible. Not that I'm arguing for independence, but you are wrong my friend.
