plus if you get independent ending its still with house's robotics. as far as the rest of the world is concerned you've achieved and changed nothing. the dam goes back to being nothing, the legion and the ncr go back to exactly where they were and you turn back time to like 10 years prior or whatever it is where it was house vegas

jokes aside ive done the independent ending more than any other ending but i still think that the faction endings feel a million times more gratifying because it actually feels like you've done something more? like the brotherhood you can set up with the NCR for their patrol route or the kings relief effort for civilians, the towns getting proper security, powder gangers getting locked up etc - whereas with the independent ending everything is more or less the same. the legion ending is literally just enslaving every faction more or less but if ur into that thats epic i guess
