Man the moment I got a charm of which the description is essentially:
"People investigating windchimes now get poisoned"

Is the moment I found a dishonorable method of working (I basically killed entire camps with only poison since wind chimes are so damn abundant)

honestly, it's not only that the game itself is very scary and atmospheric and enticing, but the gameplay itself is actually really, really good

which is a shame because cry of fear is pretty short

Considering its a HL1 mod? Its genuinely incredible.

If you've never played them btw you need to pick up They Hunger 1/2/3. They're zombie mods but they're fantastic and some of the first HL1 mods ever made.

i remember my first time playing cry of fear

me and my friends downloaded it to play co-op, knowing nothing about it

one of my friends fell out of his chair when he encountered the chainsaw arm guy on the first co-op level
