not sure on how it is now, but when i had german characters i considered germany and that somewhat of free france in the way it’s a government-in-exile, so the Bundeswehr and auxiliary forces are connected to NATO and elligle for NJSOC (also u forget the BND) but as for KSK i can’t see it existing, no

Federal Republic is in exile in the UK, NJSOC will have the option to play as German Special Forces chars if they like, operating in exile.

Can't wait to see what kind of specialisations / backgrounds the operators will have.

If i didn't misunderstand, what is extremely likely because i read the thread last night at 2am.
That the Civil Unrest and the NATO Covert operations and the crime etc have caused the Moscow to take grip of Germany and enforce its direct rule. Aka. Less power to the Puppet goverment. And more power directly to Moscow
Something i'd like to see, and i think would be intresting is that the Soviets replace the mainly german puppet goverment with the direct control from Moscow, aka. Overthrowing the German Officals and probaly somekind of a paramilitary force that has failed to calm down the tensions in Germany. Replacing the goverment and higher command with Native Soviets.
And atleast i hope, and i'd like to see if the German officals and paramilitary. Atleast part of it defected. Just run away pretty much. Maybe the Soviets were trying to cut down the corruption etc by killing Military Officals, Mini Purge. And replacing the goverment and higher command with Native Soviets.
And maybe one of the factions could be a Socialist German Army fighting against the Soviets. Not like all out war but insurgency. And maybe figure heads of the German Soviet State who defected.

The way we structured NATO as primarily engaging in behind-enemy-lines covert warfare is that they're maintaining a strict defensive focus in the western theater while the main bulk of combat takes place in Asia, where we left off during the final campaign of ww3rp. Both sides have exhausted their options on the western front and frantically maintain a status quo so to speak while they rebuild and engage in other campaigns. The UK'd be the main 'last bastion' of NATO forces within Europe and focuses on protecting their country while serving as a base of operations for missions conducted over and in Soviet-annexed Europe.

what's the deal with nato survivors? do they get pk if they're caught by soviet or is there an ooc protection against them being killed like that?

I mean, if you're supposedly playing as an undercover NATO soldier and get caught, I don't see why you wouldn't get PK'd for messing up big time.

Stasiland, the RP document, is still canon. Although the revolution hasn't been as successful as Kastner planned, at least in that sense.

He's still out there, large and in charge of his Federalist band. One of the big factors contributing to the collapse of the GDR into the titular 'STASILAND'.

I wrote up a lore document about it, still TBD.

Probably not until the final stretch before a potential launch, I know how much people like to already subscribe to the packs right now to try and see what's in it, but I'll repeat what I said earlier;

Honestly, dont give yourself a headache by already subbing to the packs, I'm constantly updating / adjusting them and there's a lot of bloated content in them right now that has been made redundant and might be removed down the line. Save yourself the disk space
