I answered this about 15 pages back, but I don't blame you not wanting to scroll through mostly memes and shitposts.

The way the concept is structured would likely move us towards having a semi-permanent map to allow people to properly set up their organisations, bases, plots, whatever. We can simulate stuff such as the progression of the war going on in the background through off-map events and all that.

Undecided on maps, we're looking at a couple but nothing firm yet
