You make a character, choose a profession (unemployed counts), and pick a couple of traits. Professions will have an impact on your skills and some minor boosts (like: park ranger can venture through trees quicker and a cop is extremely good with guns while an army veteran is also immune to panic...you get the idea)

Then you basically just try to survive while the game plays against you in every single aspect

the brita armor and weapon packs are good, and the scrap armor/weapon mods.

brita weapon pack is utterly broken
weapons are FAR too good, they have way too much available ammo and they turn the game to baby difficulty
