Description: If you have something equipped - such as a Hunting Knife - you cannot simply press another hotkey to pull out something else - such as a Hunting Rifle. You're forced to manually put away whatever you have equipped before you can equip your rifle. It's a bit tedious and multiple people have said they'd prefer this.
What should occur: Pressing a hotbar key that is bound to another equippable item while you have an item equipped should automatically holster your current equipped item and draw the new one.
Prerequisites: Two equippable items, e.g: a Hunting Knife and a Hunting Rifle both on on your hotbar.
Repro steps:
1. Press the first hotbar key to draw the first item.
2. Press the second hotbar key to attempt to draw the second item.
3. Observe.
