Also the part about "I can just dig up old threads if you ask" is a big cope too. I asked BQ to pull a thread. He did it but it took like a week. There's an insane amount of shit that I want to go through, dozens of threads and hundreds of posts. You think you can just pull all of them?

I'd argue the real loss is not even the RP docs, but the guides and the suggestions subforums (it had a lot of well-documented bugs that haven't been fixed to this day). A lot of resources were lost in the Civil Protection subforum as well, regarding voicelines, binds, in-game assets etc.

It's really not that hard to categorise the different eras of iterations, so even this reason isn't a strong one

Iirc Alex said before (and its mostly his decision, but the other HS agreed):

1) He genuinely doesn't trust people not to go archive-digging to drag shit up on others, especially those waiting in the wings who no longer play/like Neb and would throw it around Discord or whatever.

2) The archives represent a drastically different time in most cases and anyone poking their heads in who goes digging is probably going to get a negative impression. He doesn't want that, with Neb moving into a new era and away from Gmod.

Regardless of if I agree or disagree, some people in this thread have gone about changing his mind in the most ass-backwards way possible so its probably not gonna happen.
