Phase Four was wicked fun but it started emptying out rather fast because, as stated before, you had hardcore players that stacked up on powersuits, LMG's, explosives, and rickrolled your ass the moment you went on the server.

Wipes weren't very common and the few times it happened is because someone crossed a line of code a wrong way or someone found a long lost exploit that the original devs of Phase Four didn't fix which could give you infinite money / aimbot / some other bullshit.

If we're getting Phase Four back, wipes should be monthly / bi-monthly to prevent hardcore scrublords from steamrolling newbies. No matter how much people who love the gamemode preach that it should stay true without rules you can't do shit if your stuck with a glock and kevlar against powersuiters with automatic sniper rifles no matter how l33t your skills are.

Either then that, the only "rules" were that you can't do any insane OOC shit like exploiting, aimbotting, etc. and you can't camp / kill at lockers as they were designated safe spots. Because someone camping a locker all day long and waiting till you got your equipment to kill you and steal it is a retarded game mechanic. Everything else was fair game (no rdm was instated later on but no one gave a shit because who gives a fuck dude LOL. and, like, barely anyone got banned for it as long as you weren't mass rdming everyone in the spawn).

Attracting more minges to the community, yeah, why not. I'm not really into the thingy, but if people want to mostly DM/RDM some, why not set up some kind of a round-based DM gamemode? Or just go back and play with CS.

Phase 4, imagine darkRP but with no rules what so ever, the whole idea is it's a large scale social experiment in which anything goes, the only exceptions being exploits or hacking

The entire idea is that you just want to stack up as much as you can in terms of digs then do whatever you want, it really doesn't matter

think of it as the 4chan of gmod gamemodes
