This but with Mr. X in the place of Nemesis and Birkin instead of Mr. X

You talking shit about my boy Birkin?

Birkin comes out of nowhere, forces you into repetitive, item-draining boss fights and get his backstory dumped through videotapes which are not even required to advance in the game. Mr. X on the other hand increases the difficulty of the game just by entering the area and requires you to rethink your strategy, also his boss fight ost kicks ass °c°

Better than the forced cutscenes tbh, feels more organic.

Super Tyrant has the best boss theme though, bar none.

Birkin is a sympathetic villian

While he's a piece of shit ultimately

The dude spent his entire life working at Umbrella, only to lose his funding and had to pursue his work illegaly. To then be shot and killed (albeit he caused it by drawing a gun) to then consumed by the very thing he created - putting his wife and daughter's life in jeopardy as well as causing the outbreak in Racoon City

The fact he saves his daughter's life twice while being consumed by a parasite still makes me sympathise with him

Or just dodge 'em, yeah.

You can't dodge the first one but the rest of them in that "nest" type area can be duked around both on the way there and back.

I recommend all of them but

I'd probably play 0 after playing Resident evil 1 remake

And Play revalations after playing RE4

they basically prepare you for the following games
Okay got it

Resident Evil 1 remake is probably one of my favorite games of all time

Probably the best remake of all time too. RE2 remake is superb in pretty much all aspects, but Remake 1 retains more of the original which inches it a bit more forward

But they're both must play games anyway

This.

REmake 1 & 2 are the quintessential RE games.

And RE3, but that isn't remade (yet....).

People also love RE4 and I get why, I enjoy it too, but I'd say play it last. Its a BIG departure from the earlier games (ie; its more like the RE2make than the classic style).
