As the title says, the game is now being developed as its own game. I'm currently developing it in GameMaker Studio. This will help me make the game far more detailed and I will be able to add gameplay features.
Changes
The gameplay will be similar to Hotline Miami's combat system but characters will have special abilities to help them in combat. One example will be that Alex can roll to dodge bullets/any attack in general.
The dialogue will also have a revamp. Rather than floating heads the dialogue will show the entire upper body of the person speaking. It will look something like this.

The entire melee combat system and gunplay are being reworked too. Depending on what character you are and how much experience they've had with guns and such will change how much the screen shakes/accuracy. Hitting enemies wont be an easy way to just kill them either.
