ANOMALY has a whole ass story to go with it. But thanks to X-ray engine it’s fucky and I had to start three new playthroughs when I was getting near the end cause one of the main story dudes I was supposed to escort decided he wanted to die halfway through a emission

For your number one I use pROvAK’s collection of mods. Which thankfully he literally just released a whole new pack a few hours ago for 1.5.1.2



You can download either just the mods or the entire thing from the desc of the video. Highly, HIGHLY recommend as I’ve been using his stuff for a while now

Sadly for your number two I don’t know just yet, but you can create a launcher shortcut and add that to steam so you’ll be able to get your screenshots from there

If you wanna dl just the mods it’ll be in a gamedata folder. Or if you just wanna take the smooth brain route like myself just dl the entire thing from the desc and everything will be there. Just unpack it into a empty folder

I want to play it, but I have an issue where most of my binds don’t work. My PDA bind doesn’t work no matter what key or the map. Can’t even play it which it dumb

You’ve gotta have them equipped, not just in your inv. Not sure if that’s your problem or if there’s something else going on

Maybe I didn't have them equipped... I've never really played a stalker game before so I didn't have a clue what I was doing

Yeah saying this mod is complex is a bit of a understatement when there’s smoothbrains like myself out there

But given time exploring not only the game world but also all the features of just the base mod itself you’ll come to enjoy it I think. It’s really neat, albeit very fucking hard to learn at first

Oh yeah I mean it does look really enjoyable. I just like to go into games blind usually and figure everything out myself, but I'll try it again whenever I get the chance

I just wanted to take a moment to praise the absolute amazing animations included in one of the mods I downloaded



Not only is the animation itself top tier and satisfying as fuck. There’s a few things my ass noticed about it that you may come to enjoy if you like realism

1. the bolting sound is likely the most close to life example I’ve heard
2. The bolting animation shows how hard it actually is to fucking work the bolt on the Mosin
3. The reload animation is moist as fuck, the person who made it must’ve shot a Mosin before because they ACTUALLY animate the sticky bolt. Sticky bolt is so sticky sometimes that you have to literally punch the bolt or kick it to open it
4. Your character actually reloads the Mosin properly (lifting up the top round and pushing the rest down with his thumb and pressing extra hard to make sure they’re loaded) and then removing the stripper. (It’s really hard to load rounds without jamming your fucking thumb into the internal mag)

Idc if there’s better weapons I’m using it for the animation alone
