even though all nordic countries are mostly interconnected culturally and (mostly) language wise, the three scandinavian countries are at a tier above when it comes to sharing a culture, history and language together

i'd be able to understand a swedish or norwergian person with a little effort, but i wouldn't be able to understand finnish or icelandic for example
