i have a super serious case of swimmers ear in my left canal and it's literally entirely blocked shut from the swelling, which means that there's a shit ton of stagnant water in there just fucking breeding and having hot bacterial sex, infecting my ear more.

because it's blocked shut I cant use the prescribed eardrops so theres nothing i can do in that regard

they giving me stronk boyee oral steroids and super crazy souped up painkillers that make me super moody and feel woozy and i cant think straight

mine cleared up, luckily, in around 2 weeks through prescribed anti-biotics and drops from my gp

i got lucky as fuck and basically washed the infection out in one fell swoop

it went from "couldnt hear shit and in constant pain" to "completely normal" after one shower

i just did whatever i can to distract myself, although it is so hard to
i played games and slept as much as i could, with my headphone cup only on my normal ear

I have a really shitty habit of cleaning my ears with my finger because I produce hella earwax and I just like getting that shit outta there every few days.

I also have the shitty habit of biting my nails so they're always super fuckin' jagged and shit and I'm pretty sure I cut my ear when I was picking at it, thus giving birth to my new bacterial orgy hot tub of a clogged, infected ear.

i tend to get a lot of wax too so I just use a baby wipe on my pinky finger to wipe in circular motions, people might tell you not to do that but it’s worked fine for me the past 4 or few months and I’ve had no issues from it

so in the future try that instead of using your finger id say
