I have to admit though having been dragged to see Captain Marvel it isn't nearly as dumb or forced as it was made out to seem by the trailers.

Its a solid marvel film, shakes some trends you expect from the comics and has a lot of funny moments.

super hero films have become the same thing every year and you're essentially forced to watch them or be shut out on the pop culture for the next year and a half until the next one comes up

The only good superhero movie was Watchmen because most of the heroes weren't actually heroes, and they were mostly mortal and flawed individuals, and there hasn't been a decent superhero movie since watchmen because superheroes are de facto mary sue-esque characters.

Superhero movies from the avengers, to iron man, and so many other movies are just so cringe to me.

They're all fucking awful, and have no genuine or interesting character development/story arc and their only means of remaining interesting is by being increasingly ludacris as time goes on.

Not even going to comment on the politics of Hollywood considering they're all disgusting pedophiles and pedophile apologists anyhow.

Most of the people in the younger american culture of zoomers are pretty retarded when it comes to movies because the only movies they've been exposed to are block buster action movies like Marvel films and maybe some other ones on the side like Mission Impossible or something like that, causing them to compare everything they see to that.

Pretty much any movie that doesn't have a $30 million+ budget and isn't overloaded with CGI fight scenes is instantly marked as shit.

My personal favorite action movie would be Hot Fuzz, Drama being Children of Men, and Noire being Blade Runner 2049

I know a few guys who have seen Blade Runner 2049 and they instantly call it shit because there were like 2 fight scenes in it.
