I'm kind of happy we never got a sequel. The movie was great as is, every element about it left on a nice note and you could draw your own conclusion on where all the characters ended up. If they'd make a sequel, who knows how many more would come to pass, churning it into a cash-grab. Toy Story is a good example.

Looked like they had some great concepts though, and I'd have loved more out of that universe.

We gotta be happy with what we got I suppose

I'm a big fan of the original TRON and TRON: Legacy, Legacy being my all time favourite movie personally. Then it'd have to be the work of art that is James Cameron's Avatar and then after that it'd have to be Drive Angry because it's fucking hilarious. Then I'd have to go back to my childhood and say Small Soldiers. After that, it's pretty sporadic tbh.

filth - dark comedy. james mcavoy plays a coked-up detective with severe psychological trauma. hilarious and really hits u in the feels near the end

children of men - masterclass in cinema.

blade runner 2049 - severely underrated sequel, definitely one of the best movies of this decade.

pan’s labyrinth - visceral dark fantasy set in francoist spain.

falling down - michael douglas plays a working man who embarks on a rampage throughout LA. simultaneously real as hell and hilarious.

big lebowski - pretty well known at this point but it’s still up there for me. few things make me laugh as much as jeff bridges playing the penultimate stoner.

silence of the lambs - scariest movie i have ever seen, hands down.

young frankenstein - always been a wilder fan so this one’s a favorite.

have many more, but these are just a few off the top of me ol noggin
