Birdi

I'm sad to announce that after many, many years Birdi has passed away overnight.

He was an old soldier; lived far beyond the expectations of a normal Budgerigar. Even with how old he was, he was always lively - both vocally and physically - and he lived the best life we could have offered him.

Birdi was an absolute legend and I'm going to miss him.

I don't know how old exactly, but I remember him being there when I was a little kidlet so I'd say somewhere in the range of 7-8. The maximum is 10, and I've never heard of a budgie going that far.

After a long time of thinking, consideration, and some inspiration from @Blackquill 's comment about @Mute Macedonia dog, I have come to the conclusion that this puppy would indeed have his character design improved by the simple addition of a hat. Just think of it- his head is near perfectly round, excellent for a hat, and his ears being where they are create excellent real estate for a silly hat. Not to mention, the proportions of the pup, they would be quite endearing for a comically large hat. Examples are as follows:
