but being next to armed suited people is literally rebelling considering that you've broken the laws of the union knowinglyGot no issue with a paywall but it's gotta be done right. Tokens don't make you a rebel, nor does hanging out in the area where a bunch of armed suited people are. What makes you a rebel is rising in opposition to the Universal Union, and this could literally be done by anyone, even in the city. The reason I'm for a paywall is because it keeps citizen roleplay alive and it inspires city rebels like the old days in d4. Reason I'm against it is because a paywall usually causes people to have the mindset of "If I'm not shitting tokens and if I'm not armed, I can't possibly be a rebel." Keeping citizen roleplay alive is really just giving people a reason to be a citizen, eventually becoming a loyalist if things work out right. I feel like citizen roleplay could be more populated if we had more events being ran by Board Representatives, and more Terminal involvement with articles being put out, even about individual citizens and their stories. Making people feel involved is key, which is usually why a lot of citizens come on for the elections and other events.
paywalls separates the anti-citizens from the rebels, and is also good for creating a proxy between cps and rebels
this is the issue with c24
this proxy doesnt exist
