No, the biggest misconception about the war is that Americans won it for the allies, the Soviets did, they were in co-ordination with the allies during preperation for the D-Day landings. American technology at the time of the war was complete and utter garbage. They went in the complete wrong directino with radar. What we did was offer them schematics and the technology in exchange for them building it for us as we did not have the technology. America's troops were un-trained, un-proffesional and were barely fit for war. The only advantage they had was industry and the amount of men they had.
