On our end I can't find any of him doing any at all, he was super getting into the submission part of it when interacting with MPF though.

don't entirely know why everyone is rating me dumb - communities which are smart and actually claim rights on their work regardless of if it's a modification of otherwise monetized stuff. PC gamer has monetized off of the content without the consent of the community of which supplied the content. We as a community have pressed against those who have done nutty things, why shouldnt other communities?

i wouldnt really say he's reviewing it in a traditional sense - but my point still stands. It's a pretty shite move on PC Gamers behalf to not mention the community that made it happen that could have ramifications.

Look, we didn't make Half-Life 2 and PC Gamer just featured the RP side of it. They're a UK based magazine which if there were to be any players it'll likely be UK ones and we're at the top of the list for EU HL2 RP servers. Not sure why anyone would think there's any lawsuit to be had, that's free publicity which will potentially benefit HL2 RP as a whole if it brings any new players to it.
