Suggestion:
After a conversation on discord with a few other people, including Gary (who I won't tag cos rules), we concluded that it's probably a good idea to try and strive beyond the classical black gasmask suit, regardless of it's OOC connotations now, but purely to look for something better to be the highest "rebel" armor script.
I'm going to suggest a model pack and give my personal pros and cons based on what I can tell from at least eyeballing them in my own GMOD singleplayer game, basing it on how they would tie into the server from a lore perspective but also from a gameplay perspective.
When looking for models to suggest, I tried to keep a few things in mind:
1. The size of the model pack. Nobody wants to be downloading an excessive amount of content for no good reason. I've tried to ensure that the models I am suggestings are of a certain download space requirement in order to not fill people's hard-drives.
2. The general aesthetic. Most "armor" mods consist of military uniforms and exact replicas of what some countries special forces look like. For me, they don't tie into the lore of half life (with one exception, see below) and generally look out of place compared to the rest of the setting and models that we have in game. So as well as the general look, how well they will play along with other models has also been considered when making this suggestion.
3. The quality of the model. During my research some models whilst good in concept showed to be a little low in quality - even the addon page looked hastily set up and there just wasn't that layer of gloss on it that you expect from a decent sized model pack. Therefore, any models that in my view just looked generally "not HD enough", which also ties into the general aesthetic of the server, haven't been considered here.
4. Inclusivity. Yes, a weird one, but as it stands the majority of armor suits available for resistance members are male-biased, in the sense that equipping them will turn a female player model into a male one, which looks odd to say the least, especially when they unequip them and they reduce in size. Any new models made for additional armor should at the very least look like it's able to be worn by female characters.
5. Avoiding BULKY models. This is just a flavour thing, but models that look a bit too wide and are a bit too tall have been excluded from these suggestions. There's a certain height and width requirement that I can say exactly, but you just *know* when you look at a model. Resistance armor suits shouldn't be bigger then an OTA.
So I'm going to show you these models and where I see there positives and negatives:

Based off the STALKER Game franchise, I see this as the pro's and con's:
Pros:
- Low file size in comparison to most addon models available.
- Despite being from another game, I believe it fits in well in comparison to other models on the server and will suit the theme well. The models look "scrappy" and sort of "thrown together" almost what you'd expect from the crude craftsmanship of the resistance.
- A good size ratio, not too big or too tall. Slim and sleek like most of the models on the server are.
- Lots of customization available with different bodygroups.
- Some of the models have cute little Ukranian flags on them which just boosts the likelihood of them being lore-friendly.
- Player hand models work (I think)
- Maskless options
Cons:
- If you play S.T.A.L.K.E.R. it might be a little immersion breaking.
- Lack of diversity in the models (there are no female options)
- Might be some animation issues, not 100% confirmed however.
There may be some cons I'm missing but please do let me know.
