the aesthetic still seems too vastly differently for me

I'd like if you could explain how. We're going for a scavenger, thrown-together vibe, not a clean sleek almost factory made kinda suit. Imo these models fit well for the intended purpose.

they look like they are from the game stalker, and I am unable to associate them with anything but stalker. the game has an iconic style that's hard to separate

I appreciated this as one of the cons but I believe with enough time their association will be more towards the server and the game, or at least less so, towards the actual game stalker.

Good models, link to another game but with time you'll grow to appreciate them more.

just give people a handful of coins when they make new chars and allow them to accessorize at the premium vendor
only so many coins, only so many options - and you take a chunk out of this issue. still an issue, but still a chunk

There's an active suggestion to give new characters a set amount of 'money' they can use to purchase cosmetics at the prem vendor to customize their char
it'd allow more players to not look like bluesuits instantly as well as allow others to toggle new variants of their suits if they wished

disagree also not much feedback in that comment

they look very similar to the current suits available and just expand on that, most criticism seems to stem from "they're from stalker" but like I said before we've used models and items from other games and despite being from said games they came to be a strong part of the content

It's all about the use and if they're used properly. Blacksuits are a meme now due to the OOC context of them all, and I do believe we should also focus on breaking that stigma

They have the exact same polys as any other suit we have on the server and they're the same quality.

They aren't the same quality, they're even worse.

If you want something then look at the remade mercenary suit model that's somewhere on the workshop.
