Looks pretty interesting, my ideal space game tbh. It’s got station and ship building, factions, wars, planets etc. Bit like empyrion.

Curious to see where it goes, I’m gonna pick it up.

I’ve got high hopes, though I remember a very similar game called Starmade which never left EA and wasn’t fun. I felt the same way I feel about starbase now about starmade but I’ve got hope.

I’ll buy it when I’m home and report back.

Literally, I mentioned to someone a couple hours ago that this game reminds me of Starmade.

Tbf, I use to play on a couple private servers for Starmade, it was pretty good - Since I didn't have to pay a dime back then.

Tbf, I use to play on a couple private servers for Starmade, it was pretty good - Since I didn't have to pay a dime back then.

Starmade felt like space engineers but just blockier and less complex. That being said I had absolutely no clue what to do and spend my time on SE crashing ships.

From what I see, Starbase looks interesting and has promise. Reviews are picking up and a lot of them are saying very good things, bearing in mind it’s EA. I’m generally a huge fan of space sandbox games like empyrion and NMS, so this game is of massive interest to me.
