Foreword:
Everything below are things @Carrion and I have worked on to the best possible degree that we can currently. As such, nothing is yet set in stone, confirmed or even declared as 'being worked on' by either Nebulous, ourselves or developers in general. This thread is just to garner public attention, and possibly find out the public reception of such an idea; and it is your opinions that will be needed, and your support or opposition to this potential project, that will grease the wheels, so to speak, for future endeavors. Yes, before you ask, we have slightly adapted and changed the lore. Without further ado, @Carrion and I would like to present:

You are a citizen, struggling to get by in the new technological age, seeking work, social experiences and generally, following a common dream of success. How you achieve that, is up to you. With companies such as the aforementioned Sarif and TYM vying for monopolization in their markets, and LIMB clinics taking advantage of their products, selling the services which fit them, the world is your oyster. Whether you oppose augmentation, or seek to gain physical perfection in as many ways as mechanically possible, you can change the world as you see fit.
However, tensions are rising, and with the now widespread usage of Belltower Associates, a mercenary come rent-a-cop service, the augmented and natural public are beginning to face a divide. Outbreaks of violence in the streets are not yet a regular occurrence, but voluntary segregation and prejudice are setting in. Which side you take, if either, is up to you.

Factions; a Brief Overview
A number of factions will be available to the playerbase from the get-go, with only a select few being restricted for the sake of either handpicking, or premium membership bonuses. Aside from citizens, the starting faction, the available factions are as follows:
Redline; an automotive giant based in the US, focused on the production and maintenance of the US's best selling car, The Redline CD Coupé. Redline will focus on providing work for citizens, and generally attaining money and power in a legal, friendly way.
Belltower Associates; the mercenaries and rent-a-cops that have found themselves used far less sparingly of late, with many businesses and even cities opting to sport the mercs instead of state police. Armed well, and structured well, these men and women are tasked with whatever their buyer wants. Operating similarly to Private Military Contractors, they're not keen on opposition in any form.
Sarif Industries/Tai Yong Medical; the two largest names in the augmentation industry, both of which are dedicated to research and development, and production of human augmentations, to be sold to either private markets such as the Military/Belltower, or consumers, in locations such as LIMB clinics, where they can be bought by those who can afford them.
Harvesters; a gang of voracious and deadly thieves, intent on stealing augmentations from those who purchase them legitimately. Stepping into their turf can mean certain death or dismemberment to those without the means to protect themselves, be it through a weapon, or an augment that can be used as such. (This faction is planned to be Donator Only.)
LIMB International; the medical giants of the world. Making their money from private individuals, paying for the latest and greatest in augmentation technology. All one must do is walk into one of their clinics, pay the fee and sign a waiver, before being fitted in for surgery that same day, waking up with a new limb or internal augment the next day.
Picus Communications; a huge name in telecommunications, dedicated to bringing you the latest news, even if it does fit a very secretive agenda. This faction will be a minor one, popping up very little in game, and with a minuscule roster, however those within will need excellent writing skills, and formidable lore knowledge.
Special Weapons and Tactics (S.W.A.T.); the City's last line of defense, or offense, when it comes to the law. Belltower might be tasked with maintaining the general day-to-day runnings of the policing, however these boys come in when shit really hits the fan. Armed to the teeth with pretty much anything they can get their hands on, including Sniper Rifles, Shotguns and even Drones, they're a force to be reckoned with. (This faction is planned to be handpicked.)
Stray Dogs; The stray dogs will require a minor, short application, and can must begin as strays, living on the streets. These may be subject to abuse by some citizens, however they will not simply be shot on sight by all factions who oppose them, instead becoming a valued companion, and even asset to those who require protection or simply intimidation value, using attack dogs, or even possibly going so far as to start a dogfighting ring. (This faction is planned to be a donator benefit.)

Gameplay; how we want it to feel.
Naturally, due to the intent to have DX:RP work on clockwork, or one of its newest iterations, the gameplay would immediately feel intuitive and familiar to those with roleplaying history, and should be fairly easy to jump into from the beginning, even with a lore system and faction system that is rather open-ended, and can seem daunting to some. However, @Carrion and I feel that the idea of this as a project is to provide an innovative and free Roleplaying experience, without the boundaries and restrictive elements sometimes found in other gamemodes, encouraging players to write their own stories, pave their own paths, and ultimately, shape the world for themselves.
Our main focus as possible future server directors is ‘player agency’, a common buzzword in games development of late, however we both agree with the core concept. Allowing every single player to have the potential to change the in game world, for the better, or the worse, of those around him or her, this is an important aspect of having every player feel unique, critical and genuinely, not only part of the story, but the world that it takes place within.
Augmentations; our primary focus.
Due to the nature of the augmentations in Deus Ex; we've created a tiered system, by which all citizens should be able to access augmentations, be they through legal or illegal means; with benefits or negative effects. We won't fully elaborate on what these mean right now, but the tiered system is as follows, in ascending order: Scrap; Consumer Grade; Work Specific; Premium (Not restricted to premium members); Black Market; Mil-Spec.
Weapons; everyone likes a good script.
In short, to keep this as brief as possible, I'll only touch on the planned weapons. We plan to use a mixture of the Titanfall weapons, compatible with TFA base, and the Human Revolution weapons, also on TFA base. This allows for one base, with consistency and ease of access. Some of you may remember the Titanfall weapons from FT:RP, I know @Carrion and I were very fond of them.
Donator Benefits:
Naturally, there's a bountiful amount of potential donator benefits at our fingertips, the first of which I've already mentioned. The Harvester and Stray Dog whitelists will be available only to premium members (with a short application for each), and therefore will allow for those who do contribute to the community monetarily, to be given something back in return. Making a return would be the familiar PET flags, allowing for customization of homes and buildings, and ease of access to certain tools, as well as voice commands. Additionally, PAC3 could be offered, so that those with augmentations, could have them both shown via their description and extended descriptions, as well as visually through creative means.

We both hope you're as excited about the potential here as we are, and as such, we implore you to post your opinions below, as well as voting on the poll. Ask questions, be skeptical and most of all, help us make something great. If you have a suggestion, opinion or question, don't hesitate to share it. Thanks for reading this incredibly long post, and if you read all of it, good on you. @alex, @Rictalspace and @Blackquill have asked me to find out what people would think of this, so let us all know, guys. Thanks again.
