The Chromium branch of Garry's Mod is not considered stable. If you experience problems with the Chromium branch, switch back to the NONE and report the problems to Facepunch if possible.
Close Garry's Mod before following the instructions below. It will not work if Garry's Mod is running.
In your Steam library, right click on Garry's Mod and go to properties.
Go to the Betas tab and click the drop down list, selecting [chromium -] to enable the Chromium branch of Garry's Mod. You can keep the code textbox empty.
Now start Garry's Mod and Chromium should be enabled!
