It's not an intensive game at low resolutions, but having the textures on high for characters makes a world of difference

I can play it on my laptop on low everything except char detail at high with an average of 30-40 fps

Just download it and try it, you can play the starter planets at 25% download so that'll tell you if you can run it or not

You should be fine though
