yeah tf2 center is shit though

comp in of itself in a game like this is just... i dunno, it just feels weird

tf2 has always been such a casual game, with one or two try hards here and there; most of the time its just people doing weird shit and more community focused

the mechanics for comp are there, but they made it feel and play as a casual game, and suddenly making it comp with the wonky way they did it just... blegh

my god i had so much fun hitting snipers across the map in 2fort then cleavering them

then they fucking nerfed it

same thing with the degreaser; it used to be THE pyro weapon of choice, and i loved juggling soldiers

now its nerfed cause "WE WANT COMP !!!!"

I like some of the newer changes - the winger for example, basically a direct upgrade to the pistol if you know how to use it

But some weapons are just fucking useless. The only weapon I think needs a nerf right now is phlog. That's it.

the long range guillotine crits were the most satisfying thing in the game

fuck airshots, hitting long range guillotines took real skill

It was a viable alternative to pistols at the time, as if you could hit your cleavers it would do more damage with bleed-out granted enemies didn't pick up a health kit

but it would also leave you without a secondary with a high firerate to back up the scattergun

i used it exclusively to shit on all tryhards who thought they could solo a sandman+guillotine scout
