Telltale is doing something different, Kenny's re-appearance in season 2 was handled differently to this as; he was never shown in trailers or talked about as a returning character, whereas now they have revealed her in the trailer which to me may be an indication they have an actual reason for her to be in the story and to serve a purpose rather than fan service.

Kenny was originally supposed to be the villian of season 2, but due to his popularity- they created Carver instead.

I got done with the latest episode and it's a bittersweet feeling since it's prolly the last we'll see of it.

Especially knowing it may never get finished, I've enjoyed both episodes equally so far; the characters are miles ahead of anything from Seasons 2 and 3 - Even characters that get introduced in the 2nd episode are great and make me want to see more of them which makes me sad since it'll realisticly probably not get finished fully; if TTG manage to do something (note they said they will try to finish ep 3 and 4 'in some form') it won't be as good.

And despite the ending of EP 1, I think it was handled very well in EP 2 and there's plenty you can do in response to it in regards to AJ.

the ending was p cool and so were the whisperers/Lilly segments imo

I really liked what they did with the James character, I wonder what they would've done with him later on down the line

The lilly segment felt a bit forced in the beginning but in the finale, I liked it

I noticed that these two episodes spend less time focusing on action set pieces like the past 2 seasons and more time devoted to characters. hell a fucking dog character has more dev than some chars in seasons 2 and 3 at this point which is fucking hilarious

Loved the episode, decided to become a lesbian because why not

also that whisperers reference was really cool, though I'm kinda sad that there's a chance it won't get finished

It's an honest to god tragedy that Telltale shuts down just as they start getting back into being good. Honestly what killed them was just over saturation of shit no one wanted.
