i mean, we also chose to stick with Ming till the end - it's the reason why the first peace conference fell apart, they wanted to peace seperaretly with the europeans and leave china to fend for itselfYou gotta give them credit for sticking together since the start and never cucking eachother to the point that russia refused to white peace without the ottomans even though it had lost well over 150k men and its entire country was sieged by ming and rebels

THE GREAT POWERS
S Tier
Revolutionary France - played by @Mendel![]()
Securing an early union over Castile, France, together with its European allies of Portugal and Burgundy (now the Netherlands), consolidated its hegemony over Western Europe. With an ever-changing balance of power, France navigated its way to the conquests of both Germany and Italy. It then abandoned its absolutist ways, as the people overthrew the monarchy to establish a Revolutionary Monarchy under Napoleon Bonaparte.
Ming - played by @GhostKripp![]()
Spanning from Manchuria to India, the Ming dynasty maintained an isolationist identity throughout the game, only joining European conflicts once. Building up a massive empire early on, the Ming state cast a shadow over Europe in the early years, inciting ideas of a combined European force to take it down. Despite these plans for a coalition, the Europeans never saw them come to fruition, and the Ming dynasty continued until the end of the game, standing the test of time.
Ottomans - played by @not tiger![]()
No "sick-man of Europe" in this campaign, the Ottoman Empire started out strong by consolidating its rule over Anatolia and the Balkans. Creating an early alliance with Russia, it forged this pact in steel by jointly invading (and destroying) the European states of Austria and Poland-Lithuania. Expanding wildly throughout the Middle East, from Africa to the Indian subcontinent, the Ottomans reached a zenith of power and became the strongest nation in the world. Of course, in the meantime eliminating two more player-controlled nations, the Mamluks and Ethiopia.
Russia - played by @Oxy[Morons]![]()
Russia grew to be vast and powerful in this playthrough, as it spread from the Baltic to Eastern Siberia. Carving up Poland-Lithuania early with its tough Ottoman ally, Russia became a dominant power in Eurasian affairs quickly. Colonizing the wastes of Siberia, Russia built these lands up into a considerable empire which was only limited in scope of grandeur by its Ottoman ally. Establishing its own colony in Alaska, Russia became involved in world politics, eventually becoming home to the Enlightenment and an early peasant's revolution.
A Tier
Netherlands - played by @uncle kev![]()
Needing no introduction, the merchants of the Netherlands are no doubt the crown jewel of this country. Thanks to a dash for the East Indies, the Dutch East India Co. spread its domain far and wide, ushering thousands of ducats back to its mother country. Expanding throughout Indochina, South Africa, and India, the Dutch also set up the colony of New Holland in Alaska. Famous for its bank-rolling campaigns and ships too numerous to count, the Dutch were perhaps the largest sponsor of the great world war that eclipsed the globe in the late seventeenth century.
B Tier
Portugal - played by @afric![]()
Seeking gold and only gold, the Portuguese domain in the New World was a direct byproduct of the European's lust for shiny ore. Achieving the first circumnavigation of the world, Portuguese explorers were also famous for their wide-selling maps. Setting up Portuguese colonies in Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Colombia, and Mexico, a fleet full of gold was always in the Atlantic thanks to the Portuguese.
Japan - played by @Mute![]()
Coming out of isolation just to be subjugated by its big brother Ming, the Japanese state enjoyed an era of relative prosperity. It was able to successfully complete the Meiji Restoration, catching up to centuries of lost development in mere decades. Setting sail from its islands with goals of grandeur, Japan spread its domain far and wide in the Pacific and Indochina. Although the Japanese colonization of Mexico was a failed venture, the Japanese can be credited with the successful invasion of Manchuria. Finally exiting its status as a tributary of Ming, the Japanese empire is now a force to be reckoned with, both on land and sea.
Denmark - played by @Dallas![]()
Uniting the crown was the easy part; keeping it together was the hard part for Denmark. Denmark appeared as an early contender for success, pulling off power moves to secure the Livonian Order, in addition to an early invasion of Scotland. However, these successes were soon footnoted by disasters, as the economy of the country collapsed and technology could never keep up Despite these setbacks, either due to sheer luck or diplomacy (we may never know), the Danish kept on. While always perhaps playing second fiddle to a greater power, the Danes always let their will be made known, whether they got it or not.
Tunis - played by @Dalekfodder![]()
The mysterious nation of Tunis spread throughout Africa like a plague - much to the detriment of any potential European colonizers. Achieving an early agreement with its bigger brother the Ottomans, Tunis continued to dominate Northern and Sub-Saharan Africa. This African hegemony was soon challenged as Dutch settlers hit the Ivory Coast, claiming its lands to secure a route for the spice trade. Forced to concede the coast, Tunis spent the rest of its time consolidating its rule, expanding into Central Africa, as well as helping the Ottomans with any ventures.

As stipulated by the Treaty of Louisville A.D., an independence referendum led to Swedish independence in 1994, followed by Norwegian independence in 2000.
Iceland would be granted independence via referendum in 2007.
København would host the XXIX Olympiad in 2008, the ceremony was attended and opened by Johan I.
In 2018, the abolition of the monarchy was decided via referendum.
The results: 54% FOR, 46% AGAINST
The last of the Danish crownlands were returned to the Folketing on January 1st, 2020 and, in a modest ceremony in a country church in Skagen, Johan renounced his title as Prince of Denmark and dissolved the royal house of Von Wittelsbach.
The Realm of Denmark became the Republic of Denmark. A fiercely independent, isolated power perched outside the Union of European States, trading mostly with the British Confederation - their shared disdain for the continent now the only thing that unites them.
Now a private citizen, Mr. Wittelsbach retired to a purchased estate in Iceland, where he lived for the rest of his years.
i joined last minute and ireland is super cooldon't pick some tiny irish village this time with a population of 5 drunk men
ur probably gonna have a rough time
the game mechanics dont rly change, it’s more or less just getting used to diplomacy between other players and learning more advanced “meta” tactics; more or less there’s a lot more focus on military ideas unless ur going for a chill gamei've put in a few thousand hours into singleplayer, how different is it from multi? never really got into it.
my mobile data runs out in 3 days so unfortunately i won't be able to game any furtherI can already see the “player is lagging behind slowing down gamespeed” in my head
