Quite the eventful night. We got a lot done, but I must confess that I felt a bit neglected a few times. Which is understandable, lotta people with their own thing going on, but I ultimately felt like I would've gotten more done by sticking to the metaphorical herd. Everything before the teleportation was whatever, but afterwards, I definitely felt like the odd one out.
We teleport into lighthouse with the music swelling up, and my first instinct is to sabotage whatever's in my reach. I give an electro-hug to the technopillar sprouting at the center, then realize there's a super synth right behind it. We get a clue that we must ascend, and as per my homie's instructions, I decide to venture up while they deal with the synth. Again, thinking that getting things done depends on seconds of action, I start electrostuff on the console I see at the top of the lighthouse.
Wrong move again, there's a core further above that gets described when the rest of the vorts get up. I get the impression that its energy source must be severed, so I decide to go for the Arc controls.
Wrong move again, again! I was supposed to siphon the energies of the core with the rest of the vorts, and use it to teleport back. Teleport because... the lighthouse was destroyed, but not quite? The Arc is still there, but it seems like neither side really won at the end.
All in all, I had every intent to contribute, but it seems I kept reading the room wrong time and time again. It feels a bit disheartening, albeit the fact we made progress and all the neat RP regardless does make it a net positive.
Edit: I don't meant to sound all pessimistic. It was nonetheless quite the spectacle to be part of.
