There's no real mechanical way to do it, though. Sure, it can be roleplayed out, but while those /localevents are being played out and rebels do their /me's of dealing with whatever remains of the victims of their traps... well, Combine can just send a squad to flank and S2K everybody involved.

i have contemplated the mechanics.

a 45° angled fence will allow a stove to slide down towards a stationary car that can be pushed off a precipice or down another ramp. all that must be done... is weld the stove to a breakable object... and the trap is complete. a simple step is all that is necessary for the half-life 2 equivalent of an ACME Inc. anvil to fall down on your head and turn you into an accordion

back in 2021 when the Volunteer Corps were acting as the violent militia men of CAB, we had decided to start doing checkpoints in the slums, beating up slummers, etc. At one point we even stalked a rebel who threw a grenade at us, set up an ambush, and had like 10 of us swarm him and kill him.

Had a stray memory of this one time back when I first started playing. It was i17 and I had my first rebel char, I just bought a greensuit but didn't know you also needed a filter. So I told the person "hey I'm like 50 tokens short" and he was like "yeah no worries, let me hold onto your greensuit for you. Take this filter and come back with the money"

So I was in rations with a filter, and the motherfucker reported me to the cops. They found the filter and they killed me.

I can't remember who did it, but fuck you.
