actually based takeremove third person during s2k and it'll solve so many problems at once
stops fights lasting literal hours too where you've got both sides watching the exact same spot but nobody can shoot each other cause they're just 3rd person peekingactually based take
holding a gun forces first person
tenser fights + no 3rd person peeking
also encourages people to stop running around with their guns out at all times
That's not happening due to thirdperson, it's due to rebels always running into a zone which requires SD auths
You already retreated into the OOCly protected area, so what's the point in halting the retreat and shooting back at us? It only seems fair that we pop the OOCly protected bubble and fight fairly.theres a few issues with that counter-argument, namely that you, as the CPs, are granted the option to end the fight then and there by just not asking an SD for auth and letting the rebels retreat

So you have never participated in an S2K scenario but you find yourself constantly commenting about it? The scenario I have described previously may not necessarily apply to you, but it most certainly does to certain rebels.i didnt retreat into shit im not a rebel and have never participated in a firefight in the server

and then you die to the 5th 'retaliation sweep' of ota as they kill everyoneand I'm left standing practically alone waiting for it to finish
yes, because it affects my enjoyment of the server
prolonged roleplaying with people is near-impossible because eventually you get a radio call that "CPs are on the bridge" or something, and everyone runs off a quick 3-4 hour s2k fight and I'm left standing practically alone waiting for it to finish

But most of the time we don't ask for SD auths. Rebels completely voluntarily contest the warehouse.asking an SD for auth and letting the rebels retreat
That's a conscious choice of the rebels though.everyone runs off a quick 3-4 hour s2k fight

I fight a lot surprisingly,Why not join the Soko Clinic and be a pacifist and help with treating the wounded I hardly see Soko fight with her weapons and she's always behind cover providing medical rp on the frontline without ever having to fire a shot unless it's in self defence.
it feels like we went a step from "you don't get PK'd in S2K" to "you don't really lose anything in S2K" because lambda always provides a stimulus of items, and events give items, and people just hand out guns for free, and everyone is stocked to the gills so it doesn't matter if you get absolutely rolled, everyone will be locked and loaded in no time because they have to be because its a siege
