also want to quickly point out I'm not taking a stance on whatever it is you guys are discussing beyond the fact that it is possible to miss at close range. I do not know of the intricacies of the situation and I'm not really interested in getting into a debate.
even at close range you can flub your shots, especially in combat situations. stress and anxiety are real and they do have an effect on the body.
Summary:
Shots 1-5: Clearly missed.
Shots 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad spray control).
Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses.
Shot 12: Likely didn't actually fire because he was already dead.
