Trolls are a very good way to farm usually impossible to topple trees very early on given they do massive damage and have clumsy attacks. It'll take them a few hits to knock it down and a few more to break it up, but it works.

Don't see why not, but I can't speak for the others!

Its best to go it alone for the first few hours and settle in tbh.

can only play singleplayer/coop survival craft games for so long before I run out of content and get bored. being able to make fortified bases with defences and raid others for that sweet war loot makes it much more replayable and would be fitting for the setting

fair enough but still, it's vikings man I'm sure they could incorporate raiding in a way that suits the games lore.

maybe against NPCs or other player's worlds a la MGSV

but pvp in the game is trash, parrying someone doesn't guarantee any attack so at best you just trade blows 1 for 1 until the person who ate the least dies
