It looks kinda... ehh
from a person who plays a lot of CS

what's up with this hand-holding - like there's no lineups or anything, just press on a map and a smoke appears?

and abilities like these just seem highly questionable

and i still don't like the way the textures look
it really do be reduced to a "i'll check it out when it releases" from a "hmm this seems interesting"

gonna be funny watching washed up CS:GO pros thinking that they can become the best in the game though

ok, the warowl video did the game a bit more justice than watching the streams did

to be fair, while it does fix alot of problems that csgo has, i just can't get behind competitive hero shooters. I don't like getting stunned by an ability. I don't like getting kills by pressing a single button with my ultimate. Although i haven't seen many abilities yet, i already don't like the green smoke lady and the arrow wallhack shooty guy. I will give it a try tho to see how it plays

but
one thing that worries me?
the heroes. it's riot, it's got overwatch style heroes and abilities... i can see new heroes constantly being added to the game and just saturating it until it's all meaningless. and each new hero is gonna fuck up the game balance in some way... i can just see it coming.
also, they are not gonna be supportive of community-made maps, which is going to slaughter the long-term lifespan of the game

a game series such as counter strike has survived for 20 years because the community is so strong
99% of the current maps in CS:GO are community-made
custom content, like mods, is not going to be supported either

watched a video about all heroes abilities so far, stopped midway through because every hero has either a smoke or some area denial ability. What the fuck is this

So now that we have seen all characters who do you guys plan on picking up first?

I am thinking Sage. I love to have utility and she looks like a really strong pick with her revive ult that can legit decide games.

Also for the negativity people are giving this. I am not sure how to answer you as I haven't played the game myself but the main concerns are the agents at the moment. I haven't heard any of the players who played the alpha complain about OP characters. Yes ultimates can be game changers but if you don't like heroes the devs have said it themselves. This game isn't for everyone. I am just really exited to be able to play with a lot of my csgo friends and try to play something new and fresh. I don't mind that it looks like ass or that some abilities are gonna be overpowered. I know RIOT and they change the meta from time to time in League as well. If something is to insane they'll probally nerf it and make the weaker characters stronger.

I started playing some CSGO to prepare for this game again and I seriously had sitiuations where I couldn't even see some of these models. Absolutely trash that they added them to the game. Gotta play third parties who have that stuff disabled now because of the visibility. I don't really care how the game looks. I am not that type of guy that is intrested in a good looking game. I mean I play garry's mod lol.

yes, luckily it's not as common anymore, it was insane at the beginning but it's started to slow down
valve has started to update all of the maps to improve visibility
but it's still a pain when someone purposely buys a hard-to-spot skin and learns which parts of maps are hard to be spotted at and abuses that - it shouldn't be part of cs

my biggest problem is cheaters in CSGO
let's just hope that all the kids leave it for valorant so it eases up a bit
