vort anims are FUCKED

issue began when i reinstalled the neb content yesterday to fix some issues with oversized props

the aforementioned issue is now fixed but as you can see its created a bigger one

have tried:
- verifying integrity of game cache
- clean reinstalling gmod
- reinstalling all my addons (removed their gmas a bunch of times too)
- unsubbing to addons that may have potential conflict


heres what i found so far:

unsubbing to to whole neb content and reinstalling it fixes the issue
the vort anims show up fine in singleplayer


however, the MOMENT i CONNECT to the server, something happens in the process that absolutely fucks the animations up for both the server and singleplayer that can only be reverted by reinstalling the whole neb content

yes before anyone asks i disabled downloads of all custom files i still get this bullshit


help needed fast i want to play my vortigaunt and i cant do it if he's spasming all over the place

i dont understand, do episode 2 vortigaunt animations override default vortigaunt animations when i connect to the server?

because if so ur right, if not then me having this issue when i go back to singleplayer is unexplained

basically we have a thing that sets the vorts to use their Ep2 walking animations instead of the default hl2s

it must be smth to do with that

its not just walking animations tho it completely overrides /actidle and makes them spasm even worse on /actsurgery

i have an addon that adds a combine synth version of the vortigaunts as a spawnable npc maybe this is the conflict - im going to try unsubbing from that and reconnecting but keep in mind the addon coexisted with the rest of neb content before and it wasnt a problem

what else can i do about the ep2 animations if this doesnt work?

on that note does anyone have bugged sitting/act animations?
characters do weird stuff like hunched typing whenever I use /actsit

yes I own css and all the games legitimately

simply fixed it by unsubbing to all my addons besides neb content, sad

will start slowly remounting them over the next few weeks and see which one fucks the vort anims up - with any luck i'll find it and post it here

the install order probably heavily influenced it - whatever these addons are, its better for them to override neb content than the other way around
