That in itself is kind of a double-edged sword. It's basically admin intervention with extra steps - where currently you need to ask for /help after healRP, this scenario would require admins to have placed resources ahead of time or one present when you harvestRP resources and ask for them in /help.
Still, I do think vort-made healing items are a novel concept. Hell, I did it myself by RPing turning some grub nuggets into a medigel vial script - yet that required admin oversight. I don't think they should be the only avenue of healing, though, since it can loop back around to "yo vort you got some magic healing goo, right? gimme gimme gimme am almost dead pls."
But you don't need to get said items
right when the action is happening, which is what limits the healing capability. You go and gather, get the items and have them on you. Then when you need them, you apply them. It's not like the server won't have staff to give you the stuff you harvest, and even admins can spawn scripts now.
You don't want rebels to over focus on you guys being able to heal, but you want to give yourselves autonomy so they can blame you for not healing them. If your reply is "we apologize, but we have not been able to retrieve the necessary items" it will be just as if a medic says "sorry but I used my last medigel vial an hour ago".
Like I get your point but I don't think there's that big of a need for a SWEP that has some sort of 3 hours cooldown (if it's even possible to do). I am trying to find workarounds that are viable, will not get you blamed for not healing, and will not have Gary crushing his balls with a hammer.
