Forgive my necro-post but I simply MUST STATE MY OPINION AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA


Warthunder these days is so fucking unbalanced it makes me want to smack my head against a brick wall until I die. "Russian bias" (Which pretty much everyone knows at this point) aside, British tanks are so fucking awful, with paper thin armour and water-guns for turrets, there is literally no point playing them.

On the flip side, British planes are so OP as fuck tier 2 onwards that I can't see the point in playing anything that isn't German/Russian, the poor japs, Mericano's and Spaghetti men don't stand a chance.

I will always love warthunder deep in my heart but, jesus christ they need to balance the game somewhat.

(I'd have made a new thread but may as well bring this one back.)

I'm gonna nerd out a shitton here but British planes are seriously not that OP. Of course, they're great but they're not OP in every single flight characteristic; if you know your plane well enough, chances are you can either outdive the spitfires, outturn the tempest or absolutely anally destroy the firebrand. Just git gud

British tanks are... meh. Then again, from tier 3 on you'll be getting one shot in every tank since people actually know how and where to shoot. I actually really like the British cannons sometimes cause their shells can penetrate virtually anything (and if you know where the enemy's crew sits, you're golden).

Despite that I play British and German planes and Ruski tanks the most. (550 hours and still haven't spent a single penny on the game lol.)

because it's a 7.3 BR jet lol ofc it can't take on the higher tier jets as it wasn't designed for it

I mean even against superprops it has it's downsides.

I believe I was told you can really easily be outmanouvered and it's impossible to score really good hits.

As any nose mounted jet it is difficult yes it is difficult to score good hits but experience triumphs really

pulkzerstörer is really bad unless you take that route purely to bomber hunt

I would go for the me262, and I also recommend the cl13 if you're good with 50 cals

lol how can you be bad with the 50 cals they're literally zeus' lightning bolts right now, as long as you aren't a complete moron and hit an enemy with at least one burst they're fucked

on another note, i'm currently stuck grinding the first mosquito with my tempest mk. II and i also love flying the only high tier premium plane i have, fw d-13. haven't bought premium in my life and the game's pain without it lol

Yeah I just got the F-84B recently and I think it's a great plane, the only problem is it gets clubbed by the Italian F-84G. I still don't understand why that plane isn't at an 8.0 BR.
