Chez resigned following an incident where a member of headstaff's temper and negligence led to a serious overreaction, as well as just general mistreatment over the years. He didn't really do anything wrong, looking over some items (particularly event items) in a vault because, and I quote "they looked cool and I wanted to see them."

That's been ignored and the situation has become more black and white, with no further detail beyond "he abused, boot him." Chez was offered an apology, but decided to hold off and move away from Neb for the time being. Can't say I blame him, Neb has always been quick to ignore the good things people have done and absolutely shit on them when one wrong thing comes out, even if it's of little to no concern.

Anyone else resigned because they weren't happy with how the situation played out or reasons I'm just not aware of.

I've been around since Lemonpunch and I've never seen a demotion that wasn't justified in some way shape or form. And reminder, Chezburger wasn't even going to be fully demoted, he was being put down to admin

iirc he was temporarily demoted pending investigation, and would've been put down to admin after a few days probation if they found out he was abusing

And to say Chezburger was disrespected for years is so wrong, I felt he was given more than enough chances by Headstaff, often them sticking their neck out for him when shit went south, defended him plenty of times to a lot of people’s surprise
