I don't recall Chez being SA for over a year but even then, these were supposedly just event items with no correlation to gameplay, he just liked looking at them. If it'd been happening consistently for over a year and he was using it in an advantageous manner, why wasn't this addressed earlier? From the looks of it, it wasn't addressed until last minute and it resulted in an immediate removal without much forethought.

If the items in question had some kind of correlation to the economy/gameplay like guns and ammunition, I'd understand, but this appears from the surface like someone who's using a feature out of character for simplicity sake.

If that's enough to warrant what's happened, I'm unsure as to why the same attitude wasn't taken when Sloth very clearly held every single crafting flag and an absurd amount of lockers despite not being tied to the Railway when flags weren't being issued to everyone. That's special treatment that gave him an advantageous position over players.

Or how about when Rondal s2ked three people using a /event post, which was a clear violation of the rules considering s2k is the absence of roleplay and the /event post contradicted that notion.

Two wrongs don't make a right and I'm not saying that Rondal or Sloth should be demoted like Chez was. Rondal got warned in a civil manner after that incident, Chez had his position immediately revoked without being pulled aside to discuss what was supposedly wrongdoing.

I'm not saying Chez was completely in the right here, but it wasn't handled professionally (like Rondal's case) and part of that is showing respect and questioning before making rash actions. That out of the way, I'm simply disappointed in how it was handled to say the least.

most of the people posting here haven't got a clue about what went down lmao cause the situation was handled so poorly and that's what people are angry about, nor are they actually staff that has access to anything meaning they're just parroting shit people have told them and taken it at face value

i looked through about a month of logs and chez did /vaultsearch his own vault dozens of times the only thing i could find him taking out/in with the command was his labcoat models with some materials/BGs saved (that being his vort on extract aka purple glowy vort and his regular science labcoat) just to show it off to people which had no effect on anything which he did quite often, i didnt see him putting/taking stuff out that actually had any use like scripts, not to mention what he did could just as easily be done by setting his model

same goes for regular containers, idk where people are getting the "he's been doing it for a year", maybe he did but i cant be bothered to download a years worth of logs for this

even if he did it doesn't matter people are mad at how HS handled it, staff had the ability to PM/steam him, the argument that he wasnt "online" on steam is stupid cause i know hs are just as capable of contacting him on shit like discord too, shouldnt have posted it through the console disrupting the entire server, its unprofessional, not to mention the fact it was just swept under the rug afterwards due to "forum maintenance" that went on for 4 hours and was never addressed again, not to mention comments criticizing HSs actions were supposedley deleted with no notice

Also yeah Chez wasn't treated well for years but it sure as fuck wasn't by the people who gave him multiple chances even when the playerbase wanted him gone or mocked him for being an SA to begin with.
