Background Story: Born to Tola and Makara Pich in the capital city of Phnom Penh, Chea Pich was born during the outbreak of the Cambodian-Vietnamese war. Chea lived with his older brother and sister as the baby of the family in the war torn country of Cambodia. Originally sided with the government in his country, both Chea and his brother, Samnang Pich, enlisted with the communist rouges known as the KUFNS or Kampuchean United Front for National Salvation. After a short amount of training, both Chea, at the age of 12, and Samnang, at the age of 16, were given AK-47 Automatic rifles and sent to fight the oppressive governments. Both brothers fought fiercely alongside the KFUNS. They began in a small down several mile sin from the border. After five months, the KUFNS reached the capital, Phnom Penh. During a street battle,Samnang was shot in the abdomin, rupturing his spleen and causing him to bleed out. When Chea had reached Samang, they had barely enough time to say farewell before Samnang passed on. The battle was won in Phnom Penh, Chea was allowed to return home. After the war, Chea began to help his parents in the rice fields. During this time, Chea began to practice Bokator, a ancient Cambodian fighting style that made use of weapons. Chea used Bokator as an outlet, an escape from his brothers death. Bokator became his meditation. After some time on the farm, Chea began training in a more lucrative field, the railroads. In Cambodia's developing countryside, rails need to be built and operated. Chea worked on the rails through the occupation and reinstatement of the Monarchy in Cambodia. It was at the time, Chea stopped Bokator and returned to traditional meditation, having moved on from his brother's death. When Chea was a young man in 1999, his father passed away at the age of 46 due to Colon cancer. After the death of another member of his family, Chea lived on, taking care of his mother when his sister moved out in 1997. Chea and his Sister moved to City 8 when given the chance, leaving their stubborn mother behind with money and the rice farm. When the 7 Hours war broke out, Chea could raise no gun to the threat. After a short time living in City 8, Chea was transferred to City 17 in 2019.

Universal Union: Viewed as something similar to the government he fought against, Chea would like to remove the UU from power. "They are another oppressive government."

Civil Protection: Viewed as the arm of the UU, Chea harbors a hatred for these people. "They oppress us directly."

OTA: Viewed as the opposite arm on the UU, Chea harbors similar feeling about the Overwatch that he does about the Civil Protection."Nothing but the Union's lapdogs."

Loyalists: Seen as those who have turned their backs on humanity to serve the Union, Chea has a natural hate for these people in general."Only fools and traitors seek favor from the Union."

CWU-I: Chea thinks of the Civil workers as slaves to the Union, thus dislikes them. "These people allow the enemy to thrive on our planet."

CWU-M: Chea cannot bring himself to hate those who seek to rehabilitate and cure others and thus, respects the Medical branch of Civil Workers."They may work for the Union, but they still help their fellow human."

Rebels(as a whole): Chea sees alot of similarities between these individuals and KFUNS, so he identifies with them without knowing them particularly well. "They are noble fighter and share my space!"

Black Market Dealers: Chea has met a few and really has no opinion on them. "Shady people out for their own neck."

Vortigaunts: Chea has seen Bioticcs and felt pity and has some respect for the creatures after his meeting with Ra'Cha."I have decided that the Vortigaunt must be Asura."

Voluntas: Chea respects the fighters of the rebels, and aspires to join their ranks.

The Music I was listening to as all of this happened.


The soft-spoken Khmer voice spoke through the wall, "There is no good way about this..." Corvo's voice responded, "There ain't much we can do for them once we're with them, right?" "Nope..." Corvo was quick to respond with, "Like I said, not much we can do." Chea knew the truth in his words was all too much. "I...I don't think I can tell her she might need to just run." Chea's voice dripped with sorrow. Corvo's response was simple and it was accurate, "This is a situation with no perfect ending. This is the wasteland, people die." "I'll tell her."


He pressed the button on his radio, "I... What's your name again?"


Her voice returned, "I said it was Sky."


"I am sorry, but you have two options, right now, Sky."


"I'm all ears..."


"You have two options, you can either try and wait it out and risk being caught in a sweep."


"Or...?"


Chea gives a sigh, he didn't want to have to say it. He didn't want another death on his hands. "You can try and run."


"I think I'll try a combination of the two."


Chea moved a little, switching cover. He peaked about the corner, he didn't see the tell-tale blue laser cutting through the morning fog. He scanned the short strip of road for cover. None. It was very barren. He had no idea what to tell her. "What's the plan," Corvo's voice sounded over the wall. Chea wasn't sure, there truly was no good way out. Three were already down. Then another voice sounded, talking about items. Chea gave a sigh. "I think there is a little bit of cover, but it is not much," He turned to the radio, speaking into it, "There is a little space between the hill and the other road, and if you stay low, you should be good. I recommend going to the front rock and running for it."


"Ok, on three... One... Two... Three..." She ran to the first rock. She was fine, he waved about for a bit and nothing really happened. Her voice crackled over the radio, "Okay, again... One... Two... Three." She made the run. Chea's heart soared, she was going to make it. As soon as she was there, Chea practically exploded with joy. "I am glad you are well."


She gave a slight nod, the man walked from the cover, and BANG! "Shit!" Chea turned to Sky. "I'll go check on him." With that, Sky disappeared with Corvo, and Chea went to the body. He reached his hand to man's neck and gave a sigh. The man was dead.


Chea's gaze drifted to the man's guitar. Then another shot, the shotgun's bullets tore through the cabinet defense. Chea tried to enter through the narrow gap. The Soldier turned the corner, and Chea's head turned to stare at him and he stared at the Unit. The only thought that went through his head was, 'I hope the others are okay.' The shotgun exploded with the OTA soldier's trigger pull, sending the shot through Chea's torso, killing him instantly.
