That nickname plays a huge part in his back-story, though it is rather dark. Like; really dark. Skipping the details and other backstory shenanigans, he basically dawned that 'nick on himself as a reminder that he could get through any situation-- as well as for the humor of the name to keep him somewhat happy through it all. He took on the name when he was about 15, plus one of his childhood friends had jokingly called him that upon seeing one in their mall.
