Admins can't ban people that are dicking them about directly.

In the same way an admin can't PK someone that they killed.

we can do exactly that though we just need to be able to provide evidence of what we did if we are asked about it to prove legitimacy

I don't ban people for being rude to me unless they go over the line but lying about the server's rules to get something in your way is not a minor thing.
