they are coming
in december 2019, @alex invests the nebulous millions into a detached house in Rotherham, United Kingdom
four bedrooms, one bathroom, a living room, kitchen and hall
all gutted, the walls cleared away to allow maximum floorspace
invited are the members of the staff team of half life 2 roleplay and community management
together, they are brought "in-house" to consolidate and maximise the effencient running and admin of the roleplay server, to boost activity and provide a 24/7 high quality roleplay experience to the gaming public of garrysmod

an event server where people could just run events for likeAway from HL2RP. Give people an ending for their characters, wrap it up in a pretty little bow, and then put it down behind the shed.
I think the purpose moving forward shouldn't be innovation, but something that's fun. In my opinion, HL2RP isn't fun and I know a lot of people who agree with me. It's starting to get overdone and stale. The new WW3RP seems awesome, but the setting and the choices for your characters seem really strict. That's not a dig or anything, as the admin team seems to have thought about an alternate history scenario that makes sense and it really does. But, when you define your roleplay behind a strict setting, be it history or an established game lore like Half-Life, you limit what characters can be roleplayed and how far one can really go in roleplay.
I've had this idea for a Gmod roleplay where things were really loose and it was what you made of it. It would be a literal sandbox roleplay where you could make up your own backstory, make your own items, and there would be a lot of choices in terms of cosmetic creation and and weapon choice. It would be set on a distant planet and players could make their own adventure. The fun in my opinion would come from the narrative freedom to roleplay whomever and whatever.
