wifi hotspot on ps3

so im trying to get wifi on my ps3 using wifi hitspot but when on the internet connection test it fails

ive looked around on google but nothing useful

The hotspot isn't reliable enough and you're receiving packet loss when it tests its' connection. If you can, get the PS3 itself closer to the router.

Although honestly mate, even if you did get this working, it wouldn't be very stable. Are you in a hotel or something? Home wi-fi and ethernet are the only real way I can see you getting a reliable connection that's fast enough for MP gaming.

i used a phone mate
also i wanted hotspot on it for like two secs to check something when i was at my cabin
